I’ll take a shot at it.

September 1 will be the 80th anniversary of the invasion that started World War Two. In order to commemorate this solemn event, we will be running a series of battles across four maps:
1. Caen encounter representing the Polish border
2. Heilbronn encounter representing the Polish interior
3. Ensk encounter representing the outskirts of Warsaw
4. Berlin assault (Poles defending) representing Warsaw proper

To represent German blitzkrieg tactics, the German team must capture Warsaw within 6 battles, otherwise the Poles have held out long enough for the British and French to mobilize. (Germans win if Warsaw is captured within 6 battles; otherwise Poles win.)

Both sides start with Tier II tanks.

If the Poles win a battle, the map is replayed. However, the Germans may swap out 10% of their force for Tier III tanks to represent reinforcements and better equipment. (Less than 10 combatants per side, 1 Tier III; more than 10, 2 Tier IIIs)
